Women Fourth, Men Sixth at Northwest Conference Championships
SPOKANE, Wash. – The Pacific track & field teams wrapped a successful performance at the Northwest Conference Championships on Saturday with two more individual championships plus three additional podium performances. The women finished fourth with 74.5 points and the men finished sixth with 68. The women's finish was the best in Pacific history and this was the first time that both teams scored over 50 points at the same championship.

Jacob DuVall (Moses Lake, Wash.) won the men's discus throw with a personal best of 46.00m (150-11).Â
Emily Sproul (Salem, Ore.) won the women's javelin throw with a personal best of 43.34m (142-2).Â
George Twigg-Smith (Kailua-Kona, Hawaii) finished second in the triple jump with a personal best of 13.53m (44-4.75).Â
Josh Huffman (Puyallup, Wash.) joined DuVall on the discus podium with a third place throw of 45.29m (148-7).Â
Jess Knoll (Arlee, Mont.) finished third in the women's 800 meters (2:18.49).

Twigg-Smith also finished fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.89m (6-2.25).Â
Stephenie Spencer (Bothell, Wash.) finished fourth in the women's 5000 meters (18:18.87) and
Serena Wallace (Centralia, Wash.) finished sixth (18:28.45).Â
Kelsey Lee (Monroe, Wash.) was fifth in the women's 400 hurdles (64.04). The women's 4 x 400 relay team (Eberhardt, Knoll,
Marissa Smith [Rancho Cordova, Calif.), Lee) finished fifth (4:04.71). The men's 4 x 100 relay team (
Dalton Stanley [Puyallup, Wash.],
Sean Higinbotham [Phoenix, Ariz.],
Bailey Muller [Independence, Ore.],
Kolby Nikolaisen [Sumner, Wash.] was sixth (43.41).Â
Bailey Servoss (Mount Vernon, Wash.) finished sixth in the women's triple jump (10.75m [35-3.25]) and
Shannon Hammond (Forest Grove, Ore.) finished seventh (10.71m [45-1.75)]. The men's 4 x 400 relay team (Higinbotham, Stanley, Muller,
Kaleb Bass [Slate Creek, Idaho]) was seventh (3:30.66) as was the women's 4 x 100 relay team (Eberhardt, Lee,
Candice Nkoy (Salt Lake City, Utah), Smith) in 51.54. Higinbotham was seventh in the men's 400 meters (50.83).Â
Megan Eberhardt (Gig Harbor, Wash.) was seventh in the women's 400 meters (61.77).Â
Karen Du (Santa Clarita, Calif.) finished seventh in the women's discus throw (36.06m [118-4]).Â
Brynna Close (Riverside, Calif.) tied for seventh in the women's pole vault (3.01m [9-10.5]).Â
Dylan Knostman (Fortuna, Calif.) was eighth in the men's javelin throw with a mark of 47.16m (154-9).
