Top 10 marks highlight Boxer performances at Willamette Invitational
Pacific athletes turned in six new marks on the Boxer Top 10 lists at the Willamette Invitational on Saturday. The performance of the day was turned in by freshman
Kolby Nikolaisen (Sumner, Wash.). He won the pole vault competition with a personal best of 4.57m (15-0) and then took three attempts at a new Pacific school record of 4.75m (15-7).

Stephenie Spencer (Bothell, Wash.) improved her 5000 meter time for the second week in a row with the second fastest time in Pacific history at 17:41.95.Â
Josh Huffman (Puyallup, Wash.) improved to number four in the discus throw with a mark of 44.31m (145-4).Â
Jenna Hoiland (Oregon City, Ore.) moved up the number five on the triple jump list with a mark of 10.53m (34-6.75).Â
Kyle Eisenbeis (Bothell, Wash.) moved up one spot to number six on the steeplechase list with a personal best of 9:56.03, his first time under the 10:00 barrier.Â
Emily Sproul (Salem, Ore.) is now number nine in the hammer throw with a toss of 36.18m (118-9).

In addition, new or improved Northwest Conference Championship qualifying marks were recorded by
Shannon Hammond (Forest Grove, Ore.) in the 100 hurdles (16.59) and triple jump (10.83m [35-6.5]),
Sean Higinbotham (Phoenix, Ariz.) in the 400 meters (51.56) and
Kaleb Bass (Slate Creek, Idaho) in the steeplechase (9:55.56).

Pacific will compete again on April 1 at the Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational at Linfield College.
