FOREST GROVE - The schedule is set for the Pacific University women's rowing program's first home event. The Hagg Lake Invitational Regatta will take place on Sat., Mar. 14, on Henry Hagg Lake, located southwest of Forest Grove.
Competition will begin at 9 a.m., with the Boxers featured in races taking place at 9 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Boats will race from a location midway along the lake and will finish adjacent to the lake's "Boat Ramp C." In addition, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the program's new boathouse will take place at 10:15 a.m. The boathouse is located at Boat Ramp C.
Spectators will be required to pay an entry fee of $6 per vehicle to Scoggins Valley Park to watch the race. The race can be viewed from any vantage points on the lake so long as they do not obstruct vehicular or foot traffic on the park's roads and trails.
