Bonk Selected for NCAA Championships

Max Bonk (Kamuela, Hawaii) received one of five individual bids to the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships at the Grandover Resort in Greenesboro, N.C., however due to a recent wrist injury will not be competing.
Bonk was among five individuals who were selected at-large from teams that did not qualify for the NCAA Championships. Fifty schools will be represented with full teams, while five other schools will be represented with an individual golfer.

Richard Warren.
Bonk appeared at the NCAA Championships on an individual bid on two other occasions. As a freshman, he finished tied for 28th and as a junior he finished tied for 20th.
In his senior campaign, Bonk had a 71.9 average and has won eight of the 14 meets Pacific competed in during the season, which includes winning the NWC Fall and Spring Classics. He also collected NWC Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week four weeks in a row.
