Track & Field Home Meet Information

Pacific University will host two track and field meets during the 2015: the Pacific Luau Meet on Sat., Apr. 11 and the Pacific Twilight on Fri., May 1 and Sat., May 2.

PACIFIC LUAU MEET
Sat., Apr. 11
ENTRIES

Unlimited number of entries per team, per race. Entries are due by Wed., Apr. 8, 6 p.m., and must be on the Direct Athletics Website.
There will be no refunds on meet day for individuals.
If needed, a revised schedule will be made available on Fri., Apr. 10.
Please send all scratches by noon on Fri., Apr. 10.
Entry Fee: $200 per team, per gender ($400 for men & women combined). Individual entries are $25 per event.
All entries must be received by Wed., Apr. 8, 6 p.m. No exceptions.
Individual entries must be paid online via Direct Athletics. Only teams may bring cash or checks (payable to Pacific University Track & Field) on meet day.
Entries on meet day will not be allowed.
Packet pick-up will be in the Hanson Stadium press box.

FACILITY
All events will be contested on campus at Hanson Stadium. Discus, hammer and javelin will take place on the field just north of the track.
1/4-inch spikes preferred. No "Christmas Tree" spikes allowed.
Team stands should be made in the stands, not on the infield. The infield is reserved for competitors and coaches only.

CHECK-IN
Athletes must check in at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of their event, regardless of heat or flight.
Running event athletes will check in at the tent located on the 50-yard line near the backstretch.
Field event athletes will check in at the site of the event.

WEIGH-INS
Implements will be weighted and certified underneath the stadium on the east side of the concourse. Weigh-ins will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

RESULTS
Results will be made available as soon as possible after the conclusion of each event and will be posted online at GoBoxers.com.
The Pacific sports information office will send results and Hy-Tek files to competing school's sports information offices after the conclusion of the meet.

ATHLETIC TRAINER & SHOWER FACILITIES
An athletic trainer will be available near the finish line with water, ice, ice cups and a fully stocked medical kit. Other treatment methods cannot be guaranteed.
Restrooms are available underneath the bleachers. There will not be shower or locker room facilities available.

PARKING
Parking is available in the lots to the south and west of Hanson Stadium. Buses should park at the university lot located at Cedar St., and 23rd Place (two blocks east of the stadium).

FIELD EVENTS

9 a.m.: Hammer (women followed by men), Javelin (men followed by women), Long Jump (women followed by men), Pole Vault (women followed by men), High Jump (men followed by women). The discus (women followed by men) will follow the hammer. The shot put (men followed by women) will follow the women's javelin. The triple jump (women followed by men) will follow the long jump.

OPENING HEIGHTS AND PROGRESSIONS
Women's Pole Vault: 2.42m with bar raising at 15 cm increments until 3.32m, then 10 cm increments.
Men's Pole Vault: 3.77m with bar raising at 15 cm increments until 4.67m, then 10 cm increments.
Women's High Jump: 1.43m with bar raising at 5 cm increments until 1.68m, then 3 cm increments.
Men's High Jump: 1.75m with bar raising at 5 cm increments until 2.00m, then 3 cm increments.
